A.C.E. President Featured Middle East Expert at British American Business Council Aerospace Conference

A.C.E. President David Woodward is featured at “The Middle East – Rise and Growth of the Next Global Aerospace Cluster.”  This British American Business Council Aerospace Conference on September 26th and 27th 2012 brings together aerospace, regional, and finance experts to explore the potential for Puget Sound area businesses in the growing area market.  Woodward will present “Doing Business in the Middle East: What You Need To Know .”  Emirates Airlines President Tim Clark, Boeing Middle East President Jeff Johnson, and other CEOs are among the speakers.  In March, Emirates Airlines launched nonstop service between Seattle and Dubai.

In 2009 A.C.E. led 16 delegates on the Oman Study Mission following the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber’s International Study Mission to the UAE.  The group of leaders gained insights into the authentic culture and history of the region and the potential for modern-day ties with the Seattle Area.

Woodward born in Tehran, Iran and holds a Master of Arts in Near Eastern Languages and Civilization from the University of Washington and received a National Resource Fellowship while there.  He is a frequent presenter in forums and conferences on Middle East issues, Islam, and cross-cultural communication.
