On Tuesday, January 18th, A.C.E. hosted a Thank You Party for friends and family that have seen the organization through thick and thin over the past 38 years. The event was held at Seattle Children’s Theater and a good time was had by all. Special remarks were made by A.C.E. Board Chairman Jim Potter, former A.C.E. board member Naji Abi-Hashem, current A.C.E. Board member Sam Sheperd and David B. Woodward, A.C.E. President and CEO.
People came from near and far to attend the event, with Soojeong Shin from Korea and Howard Kwon from California. The longest distance traveled was by Shinji Moriyama, who flew in from Japan to attend the party and to be named chairman of the A.C.E. International Advisory Council. Also in attendance were A.C.E. staff and consultants, current and former members of A.C.E.’s Board of Directors, as well as friends and associates of the organization Jim Sable, Dick Pilskog, Barbara Hanson, Don Murphy and former A.C.E. Vice President Chris Gilman.
