The 2010 WAESOL Conference will be held this Saturday, October 23, at Highline Community College in Des Moines, WA. Registration for the conference has already closed, as the conference organizers received an unprecedented number of RSVPs this year. You can learn more about the annual conference as well as the Washington Association for the Education of Speakers of Other Languages here.
Davey Young, an instructor at the A.C.E. Language Institute at SPU, will be presenting a mini-curriculum and lesson materials developed for the Language Institute. The presentation is titled “Using Wordless Graphic Novels to Teach Everything but Reading.”
The main event, however, will be the keynote speech given by Dr. Diane Larsen-Freeman from the University of Michigan. No TESOL professional will want to miss this! So, will you be attending WAESOL 2010?
